As a worldwide travel specialist, I deal with far away destinations such as South America, the Middle East, the Far East, Asia and the Indian Ocean, as well as Africa and Europe. I have a real interest in travel, and enjoy the requests we receive from members who are unsure where to go as I can advise them and help find their ideal holiday.

Every day there’s something different to help members with which is why I love my job. Someone called one Thursday evening who was getting married on Friday and wanted to depart for his honeymoon on Saturday morning. As he put it, it was ‘a matter of life or death’ as his bride didn’t know he hadn’t booked it yet. He left it with me, I found the perfect location and they came back very happy customers.

I’ve worked six-month seasons in various countries – as a lifeguard and activity coordinator in Corsica and Greece, and ski hosting in Val D’Isere and Tignes in France. I also took a gap year, visiting China, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Thailand. In the UK I worked for a ski company, and for Kuoni in the High Street Kensington flagship store, specialising in Europe and worldwide destinations.

Through work and travelling I’ve visited some fantastic places – trekking the Inca Trail in Peru, partying at Rio Carnival in Brazil, diving in Sharm El Sheikh, seeing orang-utans in Borneo and Singapore, a fly-drive across the US and a safari in Namibia. I’ve taken trips to the Maldives, Niagara Falls in Canada, the Caribbean islands, Dubai and the majority of Europe – ski resorts, beaches and cities – including Rome for the Champions League final. I also love West Ham, and playing football and golf.
