Sepang’s intense temperatures and tropical storms heat up (and sometimes interrupt) the action at this event – in 2009 it was abandoned after 31 laps due to torrential rain. Last year witnessed Vettel triumph for the second consecutive time in the season, while both Hamilton and Alonso were penalised for their actions on track.
