No matter how many times you see it in the movies or on the pages of travel brochures, nothing can prepare you for Las Vegas’s sensory overload. The neon-lit skyline is dotted with replicas of the world’s most famous landmarks, from the Eiffel Tower to the Statue of Liberty, and the iconic casinos pulsate around the clock. This city was built to entertain and, whether you’re looking for wild parties or a relaxing getaway, it has something for everyone.
We have lifestyle managers based in our US offices who know Las Vegas inside out. Below is a selection of their must-see attractions and favourite places to eat, drink and stay. For more recommendations or to book a holiday, give us a call or email.

Explore
The Mob Museum
300 Stewart Avenue
Las Vegas has long been enamoured with its gangster roots and this interactive museum is the first of its kind, giving a powerful insight into the city’s nefarious origins. During this no-holds-barred experience, visitors are shown uncensored photos of the mob's most notorious crimes and learn how Edgar Hoover’s government fought back. The gift shop is a great place for souvenirs.

Shop
The Funk House
1228 South Casino Centre Boulevard
This expansive antiques shop specialises in 1950s furniture and ceramics and is at the epicentre of the city’s arts scene. Owner Cindy Funkhouser is the founder of First Fridays, a monthly arts festival that celebrates local musical and artistic talent with gallery openings and gigs.

Eat
Table 10
The Palazzo, 3325 Las Vegas Boulevard South
Few chefs have attempted to turn southern comfort food into nouvelle cuisine, but Emeril Lagasse has perfected a menu that includes candied bacon with barrel-aged maple syrup and whole roasted suckling pig served with white shrimp and grits. The lively restaurant is decorated in golden shades and the seats at the bar look into the kitchen, which glows under the flames of the rotisserie.
Drink
Tao Lounge
The Venetian, 3355 Las Vegas Boulevard South
Loosely based on a Buddhist temple, this Asian-themed multi-level club is busy every night. The spherical private booths are surrounded by towering statues, pools filled with koi carp and a huge dancefloor overlooked by a glowing DJ podium. To avoid queuing at the bars, we recommend opting for table service – call us for reservations.

Stay
The Venetian
3355 Las Vegas Boulevard South
One of the most elaborate spectacles on the Strip, the hotel’s exterior meticulously recreates Venice’s top landmarks, complete with canals and gondolas. There’s more of the same in the lobby, where the shops and reception desks are covered in hand-painted Venetian art. The bedrooms are a little less ostentatious, with a sleek modern design and plush king-size beds. There are an incredible 36 restaurants to suit all tastes, as well as 12 bars and clubs, three swimming pools and nightly shows from international pop stars.
Our members receive: Complimentary room upgrade (subject to availability), late check-out (subject to availability), invited guest check-in, $100 in shopping credit, discount offers, a coupon book and a gift from Grand Canal Shoppes at the neighbouring Palazzo hotel.
